Here’s another of Jackie’s articles, they really are very informative indeed.

Baltimore Maryland is a city filled with many tourist sites and historical landmarks. Home to the MLB team the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens NFL team; culture, history and fun engulf you when you visit the city.

When it comes to lodging in Baltimore there are a variety of choices. Of the four star hotels that you may chose to stay the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront being one is located in the inner harbour where the price for this hotel will run you at $249 a night. You also have the Renaissance Harbour Place Hotel with its pricing at $179 a night, and the Hyatt Regency Baltimore where you will be looking to pay $179 per night. If you’re looking for a more affordable lodging experience, Baltimore offers numerous two and three star hotels including the Radisson Plaza Hotel and the Tremont Plaza Hotel on Saint Paul at $89 per night or the Executive in at $65 per night.

Baltimore’s attractions bring visitors from around the United States every year, the Baltimore Aquarium among the most popular. At the Baltimore Aquarium visitors can view a collection of 16,500 animals on four different levels. The Baltimore Poe House and Museum exhibits a number of Edgar Allen Poe’s pieces for display and Fort McHenry historical landmark is the star fort best known for defending the Baltimore Harbour from attack during the War of 1812. Others that top Baltimore’s top attractions include the Maryland Science Centre with 3 levels of Dinosaur exhibits along with a 3-D deep sea IMAX show and the Baltimore Museum of Industry which offers hands on programs for children.

After a day of visiting Baltimore’s top attractions settle down and relax at some of Maryland’s top restaurants. For those choosing to wine and dine on some of Baltimore’s finest cuisines, you may want to try Charleston which serves fine French cuisine with a price tag at $80 per person. Another inner harbour restaurant is The Oceanaire Seafood Room serving none other than delectable fish and seafood for about $50 per person. To round out some of the higher priced restaurants is Hampton’s, which offers patrons contemporary American meals for around $55 per person. If your on a tight budget, don’t sweat it, there are many top rated restaurants for half the price. For instant Pazo is an Italian restaurant highly rated with pricing at $25 per person. Also Nacho Mama’s located in Canton serves wonderful Mexican entrees for around $20 per person. But if you’re in the mood for just a simple meal, check out Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries where you can get just that for about $10.

After you’ve finished your main sightseeing there are still a few things to see and do. For instance, go shopping at the Harbour Place mall with 30 different eateries, 17 restaurants’ including the Cheesecake Factory, and many name brand stores such as J. Crew, Bebe, Nine West, and Coach. Or take a trip to Annapolis, the American Sailing Capital, with hundreds of years’ history.
